Pour 9 ans, elle a enseign\u00e9 le swahili et la litt\u00e9rature swahilie au lyc\u00e9e. Elle a suivi une formation d&rsquo;examinatrice et a corrig\u00e9 l&rsquo;examen de Fasihi (litt\u00e9rature swahilie) sous l&rsquo;\u00e9gide du Kenya National Examinations Council pour 18 ans.<\/p>\n<p>Elle a travaill\u00e9 comme traductrice anglais-swahili \u00e0 plein temps dans une organisation confessionnelle \u00e0 but non lucratif pendant 13 ans. Elle est sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9e dans la traduction, l&rsquo;\u00e9dition et la relecture anglais-swahili. Elle a particip\u00e9e \u00e0 la traduction et \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9dition de livres d&rsquo;histoires pour enfants de l&rsquo;anglais au swahili, ainsi qu&rsquo;\u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9dition de manuels de formation des formateurs.<\/p>\n<p>En dehors de son travail, elle a \u00e9t\u00e9 pr\u00e9sidente du conseil d&rsquo;administration de l&rsquo;\u00e9cole primaire St. Georges, \u00e0 Nairobi, pendant trois ans.
