Kamunchuluh a grandi dans le Comt\u00e9 de Meru pendant le soul\u00e8vement. Il a \u00e9t\u00e9 le t\u00e9moin direct des conditions qui ont conduit au soul\u00e8vement, a assist\u00e9 \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9mergence des g\u00e9n\u00e9raux mau-mau de Meru, ainsi qu&rsquo;aux origines, \u00e0 la croissance et \u00e0 la nature des Mau-Mau.<\/p>\n<p>Dans ce livre, il explique le parcours de l&rsquo;insurrection passive, de la guerre des Mau Mau et du renouveau des Mau Mau, et compl\u00e8te l&rsquo;histoire par un r\u00e9cit poignant des relations entre les Mau Mau de Meru, le Gouvernement Kenyatta et le grand public, culminant avec la bataille de Meru du 26 janvier 1965.
